Acey Deucey
There are a variety of card games from which gamblers can choose their favorite to play and among them the game of Acey Deucey, sometimes also called In-Between, is a very simple card game of fortune. The rule of play consists of all participating layers in a game of Acey Deucey to post their ante wagers in the pot before gameplay starts. Now one player is dealt two cards with their faces turned up. This player now has the choice of making a bet regarding the third card to be dealt whether it would be numerically between the two cards he has already received. If he decides to bet, his bet size can be any amount with the upper limit being equal to the total pot size. Now, in case the third card falls numerically in between the first two cards, the player takes his bet amount out of the pot. But if the third card is out of sequence, his bet becomes a part of the pot and he cannot remove it. If his third card matches any of the first two cards, the bettor is required to place in the pot twice the bet amount he has staked. If it turns out that the player’s first two cards are numerically of same value, his betting action is based on whether the third card would be lower or higher than this value. As before, predicting rightly, will give him his bet amount back, but a wrong prediction forfeits his bet which is permanently added to the pot. If his third card turns out to match both his first two cards, the player is forced to pay three times the amount in the pot. This makes the game exciting and also one played entirely by blind luck as the player can end up not getting any of his dough back and instead paying double or triple the amount he had originally betted.
